China Agribusiness Trade Mission 2012

China is now the top market for U.S. food and agricultural exports, with sales growing by 80 percent over the past three years. Acting Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services Michael Scuse will lead an Agribusiness Trade Mission to China March 23-28, 2012, enabling U.S. companies to explore the export opportunities that abound.

The mission begins in Chengdu, one of the most important economic, transportation, and communication centers in western China and home of USDA’s newest Agricultural Trade Office. Participants will then travel on to Shanghai, a hub of global commerce and the most populous city not only in China, but in the world.
